Now there's something you don't see every day.

Last weekend Jeremy and I hit some yard sales in Utah County. We were driving through old Lehi and passed a house where a man was outside doing ... I guess it could be called yard work. He was vacuuming the dandelions that had gone to seed.

Um ... sure. That's one way to do it.

Have any of you done something along these lines when doing yard work?

Are they really so awful?

Has anyone out there heard of these? I think they're a great idea. I'd love to have a pair. The only time I've read about them is people complaining about how weird and unnecessary the design is. .............................................................................................Source: REI.com

They are supposed to make it so you run more naturally and therefore it's better for you.

What do you think? Are they for weirdos? Just for sports? Are you wondering if they come in pink? (They do!) Let me know in the comments.

Monday, Punny Monday

Yesterday I donated blood at work. I've decided that the loss of blood must cause an increase in funny. Or "pun"ny, rather. These were a couple of my one-liners from last night (if you don't like them - Blame the Red Cross):

"Wow, that truck has a lot of pickup."

"I'm so tired! Giving blood is really draining."

There was another one, too, but I can't remember it. I figure you're thinking it's probably for the best.

Yahoo, it's good to know you're thinking of me.

Today I cleaned out the spam folder for my Yahoo! account. I get lots of spam there because it's the address I provide companies when they ask for one. Like to get free stuff. (Yay for free stuff!)

This is what Yahoo! lovingly placed in the empty spam folder after I'd deleted all the emails advertising products I didn't want.

Yes, it's an ad for a product I don't want.

Yahoo, how'd you know that's exactly what my spam folder needed? You're the best.
