Tiny leggings. Very tiny leggings.

I used to have a small Strawberry Shortcake doll. I forgot about her till I found these teeny, tiny leggings in a box with various doll shoes (sized from Barbie to Cabbage Patch).

I don't think these will ever be used again. So they have been thrown away. Maybe some seagull will find them and put them to good use.

If only I had a vintage Coke to drink along with these snacks.

These were packed away in a box of books and odds and ends. I don't know why these got boxed up. But now we know that Handi-Snacks are not a good long-term food storage item. .

And nnnnnow we know.

Now that's ... creepy.

I saved this because it was creepy then. It's creepy now. The drawing of a hand pinching the ankle of a disembodied foot of a baby really clinches the 'eek!' of it all for me.

You're never full dressed until you have two bow ties.

This little guy, Hee Joe, was a gift from a fun roommate. I think she's living in Nebraska now or some place equally fascinating. (It's not Jeramie. I know where she lives. Plus we weren't roommates. She would have been more fun, less drama, and way more normal.)

Joe will be offered up in the yard sale. It won't be tough to see him go as I'd forgotten he existed.

My main question is why two bow ties? They're attached by little strings so one can be cut off and the other remains. But who is that picky about the color of a bow tie on a stuffed animal? Anyone?

It's a Miracle.

Well, Miracle brand bubbles, anyhow. I think these are about seven years old. Maybe more. I didn't have much hope they'd still be good. They are!   Not going in the yard sale but being used, not just stored. I feel ok about that. Do bubbles ever expire? I should research that.

Can't read? No problem.

More from the boxes! This is Milton Bradley's take on a 3D game. The little pieces in the box on the right get put in tabs on the 'sandy' board. I think I played it once. Mind you, I was ten when I got this game. (There is no reading required to play this game.)

This gem will be included in the yard sale. Hard to let it go, I know. Let me know if you can't read and you're interested in a Little Mermaid game.

Crap I've kept for a decade or so.

Remember how I posted about a Coke I'd kept since mid-1996? There are plenty more boxes where that came from.

Behold, the Holly Hobbie pillow case, circa 1976.

I am going to be selling most of the things from the boxes. We are going to have a ginormous yard sale. This item will not be in the yard sale.

As a kid I loved Holly Hobbie. I had a cereal bowl that was white but had her picture at the bottom. This was when I was so little my mom poured my cereal before I got to the table. I would eat as fast as I could and drink the milk to see if it was a Holly Hobbie day. It was always a good day when it was a Holly Hobbie day.

Stay tuned for more fantastic items I kept for way, way too long.
