Well, Miracle brand bubbles, anyhow. I think these are about seven years old. Maybe more. I didn't have much hope they'd still be good.

Not going in the yard sale but being used, not just stored. I feel ok about that.
Do bubbles ever expire? I should research that.

Bubbles will breakdown over time. But it depends a lot on how they are stored.
In short, unless it is supporting wildlife it should work. The bubbles might break easy, but a drop or two of dish soap (maybe some glycerin) will help fix that.
The bubbles do break very easily. I'm going to try a drop or two of Dawn. It's nice having a genius friend. (:
